Cell-Free Protein Synthesis: Fast, Flexible, and Powerful Protein Expression

A New Era of Rapid Protein Production

Traditional protein expression methods often take several days — from transformation and colony screening to culture and lysis.
Now, StemImmune’s new Cell-Free Protein Synthesis (CFPS) Kit revolutionizes this process, turning DNA directly into protein within hours — no living cells required.

Our E. coli-based T7 system retains the essential transcription and translation machinery (ribosomes, tRNAs, polymerases, cofactors), allowing researchers to perform fast, high-yield protein expression in vitro.
Whether you’re screening multiple constructs, expressing difficult targets, or producing proteins that are toxic to cells, CFPS provides unmatched speed and flexibility.

⚙️ How It Works

The Cell-Free Protein Synthesis Kit is a one-pot reaction containing:

  • E. coli extract rich in ribosomes and translation factors
  • Energy regeneration and amino acid mix
  • T7 transcription system (DNA → mRNA → Protein)
  • Buffer components optimized for stability and activity

Simply add your DNA or mRNA template — plasmid, linear PCR product, or transcribed RNA — and incubate.
Within 1–2 hours, protein synthesis begins, and most reactions reach optimal yield in 8–16 hours.

Why Cell-Free Protein Synthesis?

Advantage Description
Speed Express proteins the same day — no need for transformation or culture.
Versatility Works with plasmid, linear DNA, or mRNA templates.
Difficult Targets Perfect for cytotoxic, insoluble, or disulfide-rich proteins.
High-Throughput Ready Compatible with microplate or tube formats for screening and optimization.
Open System Easily modify reactions by adding chaperones, cofactors, or non-canonical amino acids.

Standard, Pro, and Max — Three Kit Options

StemImmune’s CFPS kits come in three optimized formulations:

Kit Key Feature Typical Application
Standard Up to 3 mg/mL yield General-purpose protein expression
Pro Chaperone-enriched Insoluble or aggregation-prone proteins
Max Redox-enhanced Disulfide-rich, antibody fragments, cytokines

Each kit is available in liquid or lyophilized formats for convenient storage and scalability.

Sample Performance Highlights
