Description

FY15000 DNA Marker contains 8 DNA fragments: 500, 1000, 2000, 3000, 4000, 6000, 8000, and 15000 bp. Each 5 μl load provides ~30 ng per band, except the 4000 bp fragment which contains ~80 ng for enhanced visibility.

Supplied in 1× loading buffer with tracking dyes, this marker is stable at room temperature during routine use and offers sharp, uniform bands for approximate DNA quantification in agarose gel electrophoresis.

Protocol

1. Load 5 μl of FY15000 DNA Marker per lane (adjust volume depending on comb size).
2. Run in 0.7–1.0% agarose gel (REF: EG20910) with 1× TAE buffer at 5–10 V/cm. Always prepare fresh gel and buffer.
3. Stain with Safe Red DNA Stain (REF: CP18106S) or other nucleic acid dyes; observe under UV light.
4. Ensure bromophenol blue tracking dye migrates to ~2/3 of gel length for optimal results.

Notice

• Pre-mixed with 1× loading buffer and tracking dyes; load directly without dilution.
• Recommended gel concentration: 0.7–0.8% TAE agarose (do not exceed 1.0%).
• Not suitable for use with TBE buffer.
• Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles; aliquot before storage.
