Description

FY5000 DNA Marker contains 9 DNA fragments: 100, 250, 500, 750, 1000, 1500, 2000, 3000, and 5000 bp. Each 5 μl load provides ~50 ng DNA per band, except the 500 bp and 1500 bp bands which are ~120 ng for enhanced visibility.

Supplied with 1× loading buffer and tracking dyes, ready for direct use. DNA bands have uniform intensity for clear resolution and approximate quantification. Stable at room temperature during routine use without degradation.

Protocol

1. Load 5 μl of FY5000 DNA Marker per lane (adjust volume depending on comb size).
2. Use 1.0–2.0% agarose gel (REF: EG20910) and electrophorese in 1× TAE buffer at 5–10 V/cm. Always prepare fresh gel and buffer.
3. Stain with Safe Red DNA Stain (REF: CP18106S) or other nucleic acid dyes; observe bands under UV.
4. For best resolution, allow bromophenol blue tracking dye to migrate ~2/3 down the gel length.

Notice

• Premixed with 1× buffer and tracking dyes; load directly without dilution.
• Recommended gel concentration range: 1.0–2.0% TAE agarose.
• Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles; aliquot before storage.
• Stable at room temperature during short-term routine use.
